Die Abnahme wird im Browser mitgeschrieben statt am großen Display als Marker getippt: Der Playhead aus Resolve kommt live an, „Zeitpunkt festhalten" friert den Timecode ein, der Eintrag wird zum Cocoa-Marker in der Timeline. Vorhandene Marker werden importiert, Szeneninfos (Motiv, Rollen, Synopse, Drehdatum) laufen mit.

The approval session is written down in the browser instead of typed as markers on the big display: the playhead from Resolve arrives live, “capture this moment” freezes the timecode, and the entry becomes a Cocoa marker in the timeline. Existing markers are imported, scene info (set, roles, synopsis, shooting date) travels along.

Automatic Ambience

Die Szenenwechsel-Marker der Timeline tragen Motiv und Tag/Nacht — daraus ergibt sich, welche Atmo unter die Szene gehört. Für wiederkehrende Dekorationen wird die Zuordnung einmal als Standard gesetzt und greift ab dann von selbst, je Serie, Motiv und Tageszeit.

The scene-change markers in the timeline carry set and day/night — and that determines which ambience belongs under the scene. For recurring standing sets the assignment is saved once as the default and applies by itself from then on, per series, set, and time of day.

Teiltreffer zählen mit: Ein Standard für „Wohngemeinschaft" greift auch für „Wohngemeinschaft Zimmer Toni", wobei die genauere Zuordnung gewinnt; fehlt die passende Tageszeit, wird die andere herangezogen. Wo nichts hinterlegt ist, schlägt das System die nächstliegende Atmo vor und weist aus, wie sicher der Treffer ist. Die Atmo-Spuren legt es selbst an und bestückt sie über die volle Länge jeder Szene.

Partial matches count: a default for “Shared flat” also covers “Shared flat Toni's room”, with the more specific assignment winning; if the matching time of day is missing, the other one is used. Where nothing is stored, the system proposes the closest ambience and states how confident the match is. It creates the ambience tracks itself and fills them across the full length of each scene.

Verschlagwortet wird von selbst: Folge und Szene erkennt das Plugin aus dem Clip am Playhead, die Rollen im Bild kommen aus der Gesichtserkennung — mit Vertrauenswert und als maschineller Treffer gekennzeichnet, damit er widerrufbar bleibt. Von Hand gesetzte Tags werden nie überschrieben, und jeder erkannte Ausschnitt verbessert das Profil der Rolle für das nächste Bild.

Tagging happens by itself: the plugin derives episode and scene from the clip at the playhead, and the characters in frame come from face recognition — with a confidence value, marked as a machine match so it stays revocable. Manually set tags are never overwritten, and every recognized crop improves that character's profile for the next photo.

Off-Stimmen, Telefonate, Erinnerungen und Narration stehen im Drehbuch, aber im Schnitt ist an diesen Stellen Stille — eingesprochen wird erst im Studio. Genau diese Lücke schließt PostProQuo: Es liest den Drehbuchtext, findet die ADR-Stellen und legt sie als Marker in die Timeline. Auf Wunsch mit einem synthetischen Sprachdummy in der Stimme der Rolle, damit im Schnitt hörbar ist, was später gesprochen wird.

Off-screen voices, phone calls, memories, and narration are in the screenplay, but in the edit those spots are silent — they are only recorded later in the studio. That is the gap PostProQuo closes: it reads the screenplay text, locates the ADR cues, and places them as markers in the timeline. Optionally with a synthetic speech dummy in the character's voice, so the edit can hear what will be spoken later.

What matters is not the cue word but whether the voice belongs to a character not scheduled for the scene at all. Phone calls where the character speaks on set are excluded.

Sprachdummy erzeugen und einfügen Generate and insert the speech dummy Aus Rolle und Text entsteht ein Dummy in der Stimme der Rolle — mehrere Versuche, geprüft gegen Verständlichkeit und Stimmähnlichkeit, Vorlauf abgeschnitten. Er wird in einen eigenen Bin importiert und auf einer eigenen Audiospur am Marker platziert, klar als KI-Erzeugnis benannt. From character and text, a dummy is generated in that character's voice — several attempts, checked for intelligibility and voice similarity, lead-in trimmed. It is imported into its own bin and placed on its own audio track at the marker, clearly named as AI-generated.

Die Dummys sind Platzhalter für den Schnitt, kein Ersatz für die Studioaufnahme. Sie liegen in eigenem Bin und eigener Spur, tragen die KI-Kennzeichnung im Namen und werden vor der Mischung ausgetauscht.

The dummies are placeholders for the edit, not a substitute for the studio recording. They live in a separate bin and track, carry the AI label in their name, and are replaced before the mix.

Every delivered episode complete on tape — and visible when it is not

Eine Folge ist erst archiviert, wenn alle ihre Bestandteile auf Band liegen: Sendefassung, Archivfassung, Mediathekenfassung, IT-Mix, MAZ-Karte und Musikliste. Die liegen auf verschiedenen Speichern, heißen teils gleich und sind nur über ihren Wurzelpfad zu unterscheiden — ohne Werkzeug sieht niemand, was fehlt. PostProQuo führt dafür eine Ampelmatrix: Zeile = Folge, Spalte = Bestandteil, fehlende Bestandteile auf den ersten Blick.

An episode is only archived once all of its components are on tape: broadcast version, archive version, catch-up version, IT mix, MAZ sheet, and music list. They live on different storages, some share the same filename, and can only be told apart by their root path — without a tool, nobody sees what is missing. PostProQuo keeps a traffic-light matrix for this: row = episode, column = component, missing components at a glance.

Prüfen Check Der Scan sucht jeden Bestandteil an seinem Ort und erkennt ihn über die Folgennummer im Dateinamen, nicht über den Ordnernamen — Namensvarianten und wechselnde Stem-Benennungen inbegriffen. Ergebnis: Pfad, Größe, Prüfsumme, Zeitpunkt. Er startet zweimal täglich von selbst für alle ausgelieferten Folgen; von Hand anstoßen geht weiterhin jederzeit. The scan looks for each component in its own location and identifies it by the episode number in the filename, not by the folder name — including naming variants and changing stem conventions. Result: path, size, checksum, timestamp. It starts on its own twice a day for every delivered episode; triggering it by hand remains possible at any time.
Vorbereiten Stage Der vollständige Satz wird in die Vorbereitungs-Ablage kopiert, nach Staffel, Block und Folge sortiert; die Musikliste erzeugt das System selbst als PDF. Die Daten laufen direkt zwischen den Speichern, nicht über den Server. Nach Verifikation gegen Größe und Prüfsumme geht der Satz auf „fertig". Auch das passiert im Tageslauf von selbst, sobald für einen Block etwas vorliegt. The complete set is copied into the staging area, sorted by season, block, and episode; the music list is generated by the system itself as a PDF. The data moves directly between storages, not through the server. After verification against size and checksum, the set is marked ready. This too happens on its own in the daily run as soon as material for a block is available.
Archivieren Archive Archiware P5 übernimmt den fertigen Satz auf LTO. Index, Volume und Handle je Bestandteil kommen zurück in die Datenbank — damit ist später belegbar, auf welchem Band was liegt. Archiware P5 takes the finished set onto LTO. Index, volume, and handle for each component come back into the database — so it stays provable which tape holds what.
Wiederherstellen Restore Ein Restore wird aus derselben Matrix angefordert und in das Restore-Verzeichnis zurückgeholt. Ohne Bandwechsler ist „wartet auf Band" ein regulärer Zustand und in der Oberfläche sichtbar, statt als Hänger zu erscheinen. Wiederherstellen ist ein eigenes Recht — es belegt das Laufwerk. A restore is requested from the same matrix and pulled back into the restore directory. Without a tape changer, "waiting for tape" is a regular state and visible in the interface rather than looking like a hang. Restoring is a separate permission — it occupies the drive.
Mitlesen statt raten Watch instead of guess Alle vier Schritte sind Aufträge, keine Klick-Wartezeiten. Ein Statuspunkt zeigt, ob der Worker lebt; Fortschritt und Protokoll laufen im Fenster mit. Warten Aufträge, ohne dass sich der Worker meldet, warnt die Seite von selbst. All four steps are jobs, not click-and-wait. A status dot shows whether the worker is alive; progress and log run along in a panel. If jobs are queued while the worker stays silent, the page warns on its own.

Stille Archivlücken gehören damit der Vergangenheit an. Mit der Auslieferung wird eine Folge archivierungspflichtig, zweimal täglich sieht das System von selbst nach, was von ihr vorliegt, und holt vollständige Sätze ohne Zutun in die Vorbereitung. Niemand pflegt eine Liste, niemand muss daran denken — ein fehlender Bestandteil steht am selben Tag in der Matrix statt Jahre später beim Restore.

Silent archive gaps are a thing of the past. On delivery an episode falls under the archiving obligation, twice a day the system checks by itself what is available, and pulls complete sets into staging without anyone lifting a finger. Nobody maintains a list, nobody has to remember — a missing component shows up in the matrix the same day, not years later during a restore.

Anwendung und Datenbank laufen auf Servern eines deutschen Anbieters in einem deutschen Rechenzentrum. Das Material selbst und alles, was Personen erkennbar macht, verlässt das Produktionsnetz gar nicht: Gesichts- und Stimmerkennung, Spracherkennung und Sprachsynthese laufen auf eigener Hardware im Haus. Die Datenverarbeitung ist auf die Anforderungen der DSGVO ausgelegt.

Application and database run on servers of a German provider in a German data centre. The material itself, and everything that makes people identifiable, never leaves the production network: face and voice recognition, speech recognition, and speech synthesis all run on in-house hardware. Data processing is designed around GDPR requirements.

Es gibt keinen Cloud-Upload von Produktionsmaterial — beim Archivieren laufen die Daten direkt zwischen den Speichern, nicht über den Server. Rushes, proxies, set photos, and mixes stay on your own storage. There is no cloud upload of production material — when archiving, the data moves directly between storages, not through the server.

Biometrie ausschließlich On-Premise Biometrics strictly on-premise Gesichts- und Stimmprofile, Transkription und die Erzeugung der Sprachdummys laufen auf eigener Hardware im Haus. Diese Daten werden an keinen externen Dienst übertragen. Face and voice profiles, transcription, and the generation of speech dummies all run on in-house hardware. None of this data is transferred to any external service.

KI-Funktionen einzeln abschaltbar AI features individually switchable Funktionen mit Personenbezug greifen nur bei ausdrücklich gesetzter Freigabe und sind ohne diese aus — nicht umgekehrt. Fällt eine Freigabe weg, bleibt die lokale Verarbeitung die einzige Quelle. Features touching personal data only run when explicitly enabled, and stay off without it — not the other way round. If a clearance lapses, local processing remains the only source.

Diese Funktionen werden ausdrücklich angefordert, sind nur bei hinterlegtem Zugang überhaupt verfügbar und verarbeiten kein Produktionsmaterial und keine biometrischen Daten.

Stated plainly: For a few administrative functions outside production — reading invoices and receipts, and researching label codes — an external AI service may be used. These functions have to be requested explicitly, are only available at all when credentials are configured, and process no production material and no biometric data.
